Welcome to the Society (3 available novels)

Test of Love is like an erotic version of the best man movie. In between the sex scenes though i discuss the concept of love versus the concept of lust, infatuation, ownership, the different forms of love and what not. It's a lot of drama, creeping, sneaking and freaking in that book.

Children Of The Residue: Detroit West Side is about the effects one particular broken home has on the neighborhood, it is actually a anthology of 2 books. The 1st one is about a boy who is bullied, the new kid in school with a drug addicted mother. He stops being the victim when he begins victimizing others and from there we travel into his transformation of his mind and his influence or lack there of on other youngsters growing up. Part 2 which is included is about his sister and his homeboys. His sister is going through similar problems that he had only their mother is now in recovery. The primary focus of part 2 is to elaborate on the transition adolescents go through psychologically pertaining to sex. Going from junior high puppy love to, let's run a train on her, like it's a sport or girl i want to fuck him because he has a reputation (validation) and how we LEARN to objectify one another.

Last 48 is a crime drama based in highland Park. I would say Donald Goines meets Ralph Ellison because there is a social moral. In one of the two stories there are 3 people who all live on the same street but different blocks but they don't meet until they meet with a barrel of a gun between them. They all have problems, facing eviction, street drama and trying to go straight but receiving no benefits. So i have a variety of things, the question is which one would catch your interest.
